Seals

A dock seal uses compression to close the gap. Foam pads mounted around the opening compress against the trailer as it backs in, forming a tight barrier that holds conditioned air in and weather out. Seals work best where trailer heights are consistent and the opening is standard size. They seal more tightly than a shelter but accommodate less variation, so if your fleet is mixed or you handle oversized trailers, look at shelters instead.
