Rolling Fire Doors

A rolling fire door sits coiled above an opening in a rated wall and drops automatically when the fire alarm system releases it. Day to day it operates like an ordinary rolling door. Model choice comes down to whether the opening also needs insulation, which matters where the rated wall separates conditioned space. Every rolling fire door requires annual drop testing and reset under NFPA 80, so factor the inspection cycle into the decision, not just the purchase.

Whether you require rolling fire door installation or service, Timbers-Kovar is here to help!
