Fire Counter Doors

Fire counter doors protect rated openings that are too small for a full-height door: service counters, pass-throughs, teller windows, and cafeteria lines. They close the same way a rolling fire door does, dropping on alarm release, but they mount above a countertop rather than a floor opening. Integral frame models arrive with the frame and sill as one assembly, which simplifies installation into finished masonry. Like all fire-rated closures, they require annual drop testing.
